Year 5 need to practise their pronunciation in the half term in preparation for the French play. Here is a useful website: phonetique.free.fr/

Go to the virelangues section and listen to the pronunciation. Repeat one sentence at a time.

Also, if you are stuck with the pronunciation of certain words, type in the French text in the following website: www2.research.att.com/~ttsweb/tts/demo.php, click on SPEAK and listen to the correct pronunciation and REPEAT IT!!

PENFRIEND NEWS

The boys have received some lovely Christmas cards from their penpals and the first letters were quite a shock for a few: their penpals are ... girls!! (that made a few boys happy!)
